Accreditation
The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts has gained academic approval on the state, regional, and national level.
The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts is recognized and approved of by the New Hampshire Post Secondary Education Commission. Through the Commission, the College has the authority to grant undergraduate degrees in the State of New Hampshire.
The College also has double accreditation.
Regionally, we are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the Nation’s oldest accreditation association. NEASC is a self-regulatory membership organization comprised of over 2000 colleges and universities in New England as well as American-founded institutions in more than 60 foreign countries.
We are accredited nationally by the American Academy for Liberal Education. Accreditation through the AALE is reserved exclusively for those institutions of higher learning capable of demonstrating “institutional integrity and a strong commitment to liberal education.” Currently, only 16 institutions in the United States have been granted accredited recognition by the AALE.
