Scholarship Funds

Thomas More College is committed to providing you with an affordable, high-quality education that does not burden you with a lifetime of debt.  We offer one of the lowest tuition rates among our peer institutions, and help you reduce your tuition rate even further through various scholarship opportunities, which include:

TMC SealThomas More Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to incoming students based on high test scores, exceptional involvement in the community, and a commitment to learning.  This scholarship is renewable for up to four years for full-time study.

St. FrancisThe Saint Francis Fund

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Student Aid Report.  This scholarship may increase year to year based upon the demonstrated need of each student.

WritingThe Faith and Reason Essay Contest

This award requires students to submit an essay of two to three pages.  First place prize of $30,000 over four years; two second place prizes of $20,000 each, and 3 third place prizes of $10,000.

St. John VianneyThe John Vianney & Katherine Drexel Funds

These funds are offered to graduates who find that they are called to enter the religious life.  The student transfers any unpaid educational loans back to Thomas More College, enabling him or her to follow God’s call immediately. This fund is available to any four-year student who has graduated from Thomas More College and is accepted into a religious community or seminary.

CommuterScholarship for Commuters

This scholarship is offered to incoming freshmen who reside with their families and commute to TMC. Recipients are awarded $20,000 over four years ($5,000 per year). This scholarship is not open to students who do not reside with their families.
